Population Plus One is an independent mobile app studio focused on experiences that feel personal, private, and genuinely useful.

Population Plus One started with a simple frustration: most apps that handle your most personal moments — your baby's birth, your birth chart, your deepest questions — are wrapped in advertising networks, cloud sync requirements, and data collection you never asked for.

We build differently. Every app in the Population Plus One ecosystem is designed around one non-negotiable: your data belongs to you. Not to an ad network. Not to a cloud platform. Not to us.

That constraint — privacy first, always — turns out to be a surprisingly powerful design principle. When you don't need a server, you build for offline. When you don't need an account, you build for simplicity. When you don't need to monetize data, you build apps people actually trust.

The result is a growing suite of apps that each tackle a different meaningful moment — welcoming a new life, exploring your place in the cosmos, chasing the sky, seeking answers in the stars. Four apps. One philosophy.
