You can delete all stored data by uninstalling the app. There is no account to delete and no server-side data to request removal of.
Responses in Cosmic 8 Ball are produced by a procedural celestial computation engine running entirely on your device. The engine uses Meeus orbital algorithms to calculate real-time positions for all 8 planets, detects moon phase and retrograde status, applies the ancient Chaldean planetary hour system, and scores your sun sign against current sky conditions to produce a dynamic cosmic alignment score.
No questions you ask are transmitted to any external server, AI service, or third party. All calculations run locally within the app — nothing leaves your device.
Cosmic 8 Ball includes an optional voice input feature. If you choose to use it:
Microphone access is entirely optional. You can type your questions instead and decline microphone permission without affecting any other app feature.
Cosmic 8 Ball may request permission to send local notifications (e.g., a daily cosmic pull reminder). If you grant permission:
Notifications are optional. The app is fully functional without them.
The app uses your device's motion sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope) to create immersive visual effects — for example, the eyeball may respond to how you hold your device. Sensor data is used only in real time for visual rendering and is never stored or transmitted.
Cosmic 8 Ball does not make network requests to any external server for its core functionality. There are no analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting services embedded in the app.
The only external link in the app is a cross-promotion banner in the "How It Works" screen linking to Written in the Stars on the Play Store. Tapping this link opens your device's browser — no data is sent from the app itself.
